Energy Programs
Additional Energy Programs
The Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund has a wide variety of educational programs, loans and low-income initiatives to help save energy, money and the environment. Funding for some of these programs is limited, and customers will be qualified for enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis. As described under each program, eligibility may depend on whether your electric distribution utility is Connecticut Light & Power (CL&P) or The United Illuminating Company (UI). For more information, call toll-free 1-877-WISE-USE.

Power Factor Improvement
This program offers a technical and financial incentive for improving the power factor at qualifying facilities.
Demand Reduction
By helping commercial and industrial customers understand how much demand (kW) they use at different times of the day, this program provides insight on potential load reduction opportunities and develops a facility–specific strategy to reduce kW demand. CL&P will arrange for technical assistance and provide cash incentives to upgrade the efficiency of electrical equipment.
